Gerald Anderson : From Boy to Hunk



The pride of General Santos City, Gerald Randolph O. Anderson, Jr. was born in March 7, 1989, in Subix Bay, Zambales. A mix of American blood from his father, Gerald Randy Anderson, Sr., and a Filipina blood from his mother, Evangeline Opsima, he evolved from an innocent boy to a hunk next door favored by magazines centerfold.
Placing third in the first Pinoy Big Brother: Teen edition, the reality shows marks the realization of his showbiz career. He is a current contract artist of the Star Magic, ABS-CBN. His primetime series include Sana Maulit Muli, Tayong Dalawa, My Girl and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo. He is also been part of the ASAP family since 2006.
Budoy is Gerald’s current primetime series with ABS-CBN, which is raking a big share in the TV ratings nationwide and in Mega and Metro Manila. This is a story of a young man born out of artificial insemination, who had been a dream come true of the family of doctors, but later on found to be suffering from Angelman syndrome, a delay in the intellectual and developmental development. Conflict started when shame enslaved the family about their son’s condition.
